Our core goals

We offer strong foundations in literacy and numeracy so your child can succeed now and in the future

Our comprehensive and systematic approach to teaching literacy and numeracy through Initialit K-2, NSW Department of Education's units of work for English and Mathematics and Dr Tessa Daffern's Component's of Spelling  ensure an evidence-based curriculum with strong foundations in explicit teaching.
We are safe and inclusive
The Bungendore Way is to be engaged, respectful and safe, and through explicit teaching, our students and staff know what this means. The Bungendore Way ensures that everyone in our school will feel that they belong and that our school is a great place to be!
We teach gratitude, empathy and mindfulness (GEM)
Through our partnership with The Resilience Project, we aim to teach young people positive mental health strategies that will make them feel happier and be more resilient. This is centred on the core principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy.
