Defence School Mentor Program

At Bungendore Public School, we are proud to support our Australian Defence Force (ADF) families through the Defence School Mentor (DSM) Program.

Our DSM, Rachael Hamson, provides tailored support to ADF students and their families to help ease the challenges associated with relocations, transitions between schools, and parental deployments. The program focuses on student wellbeing, connection, and continuity of learning.

Rachael is available at the school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and works closely with staff, students, and families to ensure Defence children feel welcomed, supported, and connected.
