Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.
The Bungendore Way
The Bungendore Way is our school culture. It's how we do things at BPS, in our classrooms, in the playground and in all aspects of school.
Through explicit teaching of expected behaviours and having consistent, whole-school routines, we support students to understand what is exepected of them in each setting. The Bungendore Way helps to support students demonstrate our values of being respectful, safe and engaged.
The Bungendore Way supports everyone in our school to feel that they belong and that our school is a great place to be!

The Resilience Project (TRP)
At Bungendore, we commenced our TRP journey as a collective approach through our Weereewa Community of Schools at the beginning of 2025. On the first teaching day of each week, students engage in a TRP lesson in their class, with the principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy (GEM + EL) consolidated throughout the week in classrooms, assemblies and the playground.
With staggering statistics among children, young people and adults in Australia, we’re working to drive change through a preventative approach.

Based on the evidence-based principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness (GEM) and Emotional Literacy, The Resilience Project equips students with lifelong wellbeing habits, builds educator resilience and empowers families to support wellbeing at home.
Visit the TRP Parents & Carer's Hub or read the Parent & Carer FAQs to find out more.
Lunchtime clubs
We understand that the playground can be overwhelming and a tricky place to navigate for some. We support students to build friendships and form bonds while engaging in activities of shared interest. Some of these are open to all students, while others are for selected students only, to ensure that the right amount of support is available.
If you have questions about our lunchtime offerings for your child, please contact us.
