A taste of big school -

Term 4 is an exciting time for all of us, as we welcome our 2024 Kindergarten students for their visits to big school as part of our 'a taste of big school' sessions. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to come and spend multiple times at school, in the comfort of their own early learning group, with their educators to meet our current Kindergarten teachers and experience school life.

Information sessions -

We are also hosting two information sessions for parents/ careers with practical tips, strategies, dates, and information to support this exciting time of starting school. These are repeat sessions, so if you cannot attend one, the same information will be delivered at the other. All this information will also be on our Kindergarten hub on our school website. https://bungendore-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/.../kindergarten...

With excitement for connecting with you all,

The kindergarten team
in collaboration with our wonderful Bungendore Early Learning Community group (BELC)

Dear current Kindergarten families and new 2024 Kindergarten families,

We are excited to announce the dates of our annual Teddy Bears Picnic. Our Bungendore Early Learning professional learning community begins our transition to school programs each year by coming together at Mick Sherd oval where we meet and greet as a community of early learners. We engage in a variety of activities to put faces to names and build positive, authentic connections throughout these shared experiences. Our current 2023 Kindergarten students are the ambassadors of the event (as they have firsthand stores of starting big school and what it is like), as well as take on this leadership opportunity to guide our future little Bungendorians in their exciting journey of starting big school. Please see below the correspondence that you will have received from your local early learning centre and no doubt would have see around town. Of course, if you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s early learning educators or to the school for any additional information. We would like to thank the Bungendore Early Learning Community group of centres for their support in bringing students to this event. It is so true that “It takes a village to raise a child", and what a wonderful, connected community we are all part of here in Bungendore.

With excitement for meeting with you all,

Brendon Wright - Assistant Principal (Early Stage 1)

on behalf of The Kindergarten teaching team
and in collaboration with the Bungendore Early Learning Community Group.
