Bungendore Public School parents and citizens association
What does the P&C do?
- Broadly, the Bungendore Public School Parents and Citizens Association:
- works towards ensuring that school at BPS is a safe, rewarding and fair experience for our children
- works with staff to make changes for the better, including participating in annual school evaluation
- represents the views of parents at P&C meetings on relevant matters (individual child & teacher issues should be handled directly with the school)
- represents P&C on council committees (e.g. community hall) and to other groups as required.
More specifically, the P&C:
- communicates to parents about events and issues important for our school and children
- raises funds and secures grants for school resources and worthy causes
- understands and responds to local, state and federal issues affecting public education
- fosters the parent, carer and family community at BPS.
