'Bungers and Mash' Cookbook
Have you seen our cookbook 'Bungers and Mash?' It brings together community recipes, photos, artwork, and stories to celebrate 150 years of Bungendore Public School. You may come across some new ideas for lunch boxes or fresh dinner ideas for those lazy summer days approaching.

Within its pages, you'll find a range of tasty treats ranging from classic comfort food like lasagna and chocolate cake to gourmet innovations like shellfish bisque and rose ricotta torte. We've also included a chapter with lunchbox goodies for those with kids, as well as a chapter with drinks (also for those with kids!).
Bungers and Mash is more than just a cookbook. It's a reflection of life in our town, a keepsake not just of the school today, but of the broader community and our past. We've combed old photos and papers to give you a taste of what Bungendore used to be like, and we've involved our students throughout this project. We hope you enjoy flicking through it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
Bungers and Mash is available for $25 through online payment on PayPal or cash payment in the school office. Gift wrapping is available for a further $1 per book. All proceeds go to school improvements coordinated by the Bungendore Public School Parents & Citizens Association.
